You must be happy with your portrait or you are not obligated to purchase.
I ask for a deposit of $50.00 to start. The balance isn't due until you have seen the portrait via E-mail and
necessary adjustements are made until you are happy with it. If for some reason you are not, then I will gladly keep the portrait and send you a complete refund of your deposit. I want you to be 100% happy with your portrait, otherwise you are not obligated to purchase.
Shipping
Prices shown are in U.S. dollars and depend on the size you choose, because the finished portraits are very light weight this cost is minimal. Arrangements can be made to ship via United States Postal Service or UPS.
Insured shipping is not included in the above prices. Insurance can be determined at time of shipping and paid for by customer.
If you prefer, you can simply E-mail me the image by scanning your photo(s) at 300 dpi into a .jpg format. For best results, please use a resolution of 1280 x 1024, the higher the better. If you do not have access to a scanner and/or computer, Kinkos offers these services. If you are unable to send me digital images, please contact me Dorothy Hawkins @ 651-214-6208 and we can discuss mailing your photos.

Gallery stretched canvas is artist canvas stretched over a wooden frame, with the canvas wrapping around all four sides and stapled to the back which enables it to be hung with or without a frame.

This is for the digital file which after your approval by e-mail can be downloaded to your computer
and you can then choose the printing or mounting your self.

The most important part of choosing a photo is for you to choose the one that most represents your pet as you know them and want to remember them, so above all choose the one you like best, chances are, if I need to, I can do some adjustments and make the picture useable for what I need. This can be discussed at the beginning of the project.
The clarity of the photo you choose makes a difference in the final artwork. Here are some tips for choosing a good photo.
1. The photo should be clear and sharply focused.
2. Choose the picture with the most detail and best reflects your pets personality or trait you want the portrait to reflect. A close up works best.
3. Hair should be visible enough to see how it lays.
4. Choose the picture with the best eye, good color and distinction between the iris and the pupil if possible.
5. A photo that is too light and washed out is more difficult to work with than one that is darker with shadows.
